We teamed up with the marketing teams at Discovery+ and ID to conceptualize, designed, produce and edit a series of trailers for the four-part, true crime investigative series, Onision IRL. We used the beautifully composed and filmed survivor interviews, juxtaposed against the show’s recreations and legally cleared YouTube clips, to tell this twisted tale of manipulation and online predatorial abuse. Frenetic, social media inspired, full-screen, repeating text was designed for punctuation and to break up the user generated content.
